3CX Migration To Bloom Cloud

Log into your existing 3CX Phone system management portal and select the option to backup of your configuration, then download the backp file to your local workstation as per the backup instructions on the 3CX website.

Log into your Bloom Cloud control panel and place an order for your new 3CX phone system.

You can select the version of 3CX that you would like to deploy using the drop down menu under the 'OS Template' section on the order page.

Once the order has been activated, navigate to the 3CX instance in your control panel, by expanding the ‘Services’ link (top left) > ‘Smart Office Solutions’ > ‘Hosted PBX’ and select the pbx hostname to view the configuration.

Open the link to the 3CX console to continue the configuration, selecting the option to complete the configuration via your web browser.

Once you have accessed the 3CX instance via your browser, you should have the option to upload the backup file from step 1 and restore to this instance.

Additionally, you will be prompted to provide your license key from the original installation to complete the restore.

On completion of the above steps, the phone system will be restored to your new instance hosted at Bloom Cloud.

The hostname, FQDN and DNS will be automatically updated and the system should be ready to use.

NOTE: Please remember to update your SIP trunk access control lists so they can be accessed using the new IP address of your PBX.

UPGRADE NOTICE: 3CX phone system v.20 requires at least 2 vCPUs and 2GB RAM.
